Dr. MEGHANN ORMOND

Meghann Ormond is Assistant Professor in Cultural Geography at Wageningen University & Research in The Netherlands. A health geographer, her work focuses on the management of two of the most important challenges of our time: transnational mobility and the governance of human health and social welfare. Her research contributes to timely societal and scholarly debates regarding post-national conceptualisations of care, responsibility and interdependence. She is the author of numerous journal articles and book chapters on these themes as well as of the book Neoliberal Governance and International Medical Travel in Malaysia (Routledge, 2013).
